At 10pm on Friday night, Adam will begin the race. This is two days earlier than the general public as Adam travels at 1 mph when walking using the ReWalk Exoskeleton technology. He will need 27 hours actively walking to complete the marathon.
By the end of Saturday, Adam will complete 22 miles out of the total 26. At midnight, Adam will take a 6 hour break to recharge batteries for the ReWalk system.
Adam begins his final day at 7am on Sunday at mile 22. Two hours later at 9am, the elite runners of the world will pass him as he reaches mile 24. We will be there to capture this powerful moment as some of the most elite athletes of the world run past a man as he rises out of a debilitating injury.
